DDD

DDD is an indivdual project finished as the second design challenge in course "Designing Playful Experience". It is developed in online game editor Gamesalad. All art assets are created in Adobe Illustrator. The design and development of DDD, including art creation, are finished within 30 hours. The purpose of this project is to learn and master Gamesalad.

DDD is a rougue lite game in which player will be driving a car equipped with guns, avoide hitting road blocks and destroy enemies. Every enemy destroyed will drop temporary upgrades and coins. Coins can be used to purchase permnant upgrades such as fire rate, damage, and even unlock shields and rockets.

The project received a grade of 110/100 for high level of completion: random block generation, temp and permnant upgrades, store system; and thoughtful consideration: developer tool.

DC1

DC1 is an individual project designed and developed in a text based game engine, Twine, in one week (estimated total work hours: 10). It is the first project in course "Designing Playful Experience" and received a grade of 100/100.

DC1 tells the story of a person who suffers from language violence and is about to jump off the building. Player needs to find the kind word out of nine words before the person falls to the ground and save the person from nightmare.
